Minnesota Volunteer Organization Benefits from GroupCast Instant Notification
It was the dead of winter and an elderly woman named Virginia needed help. The temperature outside was 26 degrees below zero and her furnace went out. She didn't know what to do, so she called the Crow Wing County's RSVP program. Program Director Mike Koecheler contacted all 1,067 volunteers with a single phone call and within eight minutes a volunteer was on his way to help Virginia. Within an hour she had a fully functioning furnace again, was safe and warm, and out of danger.
