Hosted Solution - As a fully-hosted solution, there is no reliance on local servers or networks for running the SchoolReach system. The SchoolReach system is accessed via the Internet and is hosted at four strategically situated and geographically diverse data centers.
"Five Nines" Performance - Our data centers and the server platforms are built on a fault tolerant, redundant basis and interconnected via a 100 GB MPLS fiber ring ensuring 99.999% system availability and up time. Each center is capable of working in a standalone capacity as well as part of an aggregate architecture. Each subsystem is modular and is designed so that under performing system resources can be taken off line without impact to the whole system. SchoolReach owns what we deliver; we do not outsource broadcast capacity and everything you or your administrators see and touch is created, owned and controlled by SchoolReach.
No Reliance on District Phone Lines - In an effort to show the lowest possible price point, some providers of parent notification technology are reverting back to pre-2001 processes by using "idle" district internet/phone capacity to make non-emergency broadcasts. We find this risky. The whole principle behind a hosted notification solution is to remove the risk of local failure and to open the capacity flood gates. SchoolReach is 100% hosted and places no burden on district networks to deliver broadcasts. All broadcasts have access to massive capacity for rapid processing and there is no need to categorize between emergency and non-emergency broadcasts.
Simple Integration - SchoolReach works with all the popular SIS packages leveraging their ability to export data in .txt, CSV and .xls formats for quick importation into SchoolReach. Once you have established an export routine, moving the data to SchoolReach is accomplished either by a browse and load process or by way of our patent pending EZ Data Sync system. Secure - SchoolReach uses GeoTrust 128-bit SSL encryption technology to authenticate and protect all access to our system. In addition, account access is protected via a dual login process using 10-digit numeric values. Yes, it's a lot to remember, but it's far better than making your login credentials easily guessable such as your email address and school mascot name.
Professional Training & Ongoing Support - User training is typically facilitated by way of live one-on-one or group training webinars. The SchoolReach user interface is designed to be intuitive and organized so that anyone with basic PC and web browsing skills can quickly become an expert user. On-site training is also available for an extra one-time fee. Once initial user training is completed SchoolReach offers 24x7x365 live customer support, on-line video tutorials and live group training sessions - a great way for users to learn in the company of their peers from across the country.
